Conditioned Stimulus
A previously neutral stimulus that, after becoming associated with an unconditioned stimulus, eventually comes to trigger a conditioned response.
Respondent Behavior
A type of behavior that occurs as a direct response to a specific stimulus in the environment, typically automatic and reflexive in nature.
Spontaneous Recovery
The return of a conditioned response that had previously disappeared, following a break from being exposed to the associated stimulus.
Conditioned Fear
A learned response to a previously neutral stimulus that has been repeatedly paired with an aversive stimulus, resulting in the expression of fear responses to the neutral stimulus alone.
