Definitions:

Detrusor Muscle

The smooth muscle found in the wall of the bladder, which contracts during urination to expel urine.

Micturition

Micturition is the biological process of discharging urine from the bladder through the urethra to the outside of the body, commonly referred to as urination.

Urinary Bladder

A muscular sac in the pelvic cavity that stores urine before it is excreted from the body.

Ureters

Tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder, essential for the transportation of urine in the urinary system.
