Bias is the tendency for samples to differ from the corresponding population in somesystematic way. Some types of bias are: (a) selection bias, (

Emotional Regulation
The process by which individuals influence which emotions they feel, when they feel them, and how they express and experience them.
Primary Prevention
Actions that change overall background conditions to prevent some unwanted event or circumstance, such as injury, disease, or abuse.
Secondary Prevention
Actions that avert harm in a high-risk situation, such as using seat belts in cars.
Child Maltreatment
Refers to the abuse and neglect of children by parents or other caregivers, resulting in potential or actual harm to the child's health, survival, development or dignity.
