-A Two-Way Analysis of Variance Is α=0.05\alpha = 0.05

question 14

Short Answer

Perform the Tukey Test
-A two-way analysis of variance is to be performed using the data below. Assume that the data come from populations that are normally distributed with the same variance. If there is a significant difference in the means for the three levels of factor A, use Tukey's test to determine which pairwise means differ using a familywise error rate of α=0.05\alpha = 0.05 . If there is a significant difference in the means for the three levels of factor B, use Tukey's test to determine which pairwise means differ using a familywise error rate of α=0.05\alpha = 0.05 .

Based on logic or reason; capable of coherent thought processes and sound judgment.

Empirical

Based on observation or experiment rather than theory or logic, used in contexts where knowledge is derived from empirical evidence.

Significance Testing

A statistical method used to determine if the results of a study are likely to be true or if they might have occurred by chance.
