Although there is an impressive collection of research supporting personality stability using the five-factor model, there is also research indicating personality change. Ursula Staudinger and colleagues' perspective reconciles these differences by suggesting personality takes on two forms:
Socialist
A political and economic theory advocating for public or collective ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.
Self-Government
The principle or system whereby local or smaller communities govern themselves, rather than being governed by external forces.
European Allies
Refers to countries in Europe that are aligned with each other or with another country, often through formal agreements, for mutual benefit or to achieve common goals.
Cold War
A period of geopolitical tension between the Soviet Union and the United States, marked by espionage, political rivalry, and the threat of nuclear warfare, from the end of World War II to the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991.
