Generally accepted auditing standards are
Photosystem II
A component of the chloroplasts in plants and algae involved in the light-dependent reactions of photosynthesis, particularly in water-splitting and oxygen production.
Cyclic Electron Pathway
Alternate form of the light-dependent reactions in photosynthesis that does not produce NADPH.
Noncyclic Electron Pathway
Light-dependent photosynthetic pathway that is used to generate ATP and NADPH. Because the pathway is noncyclic, the electrons must be replaced by the splitting of water (photolysis).
Calvin Cycle Reactions
A series of biochemical redox reactions that take place in the stroma of chloroplasts in photosynthetic organisms. It is a critical part of the process of carbon fixation, converting carbon dioxide into glucose.
