Prosecutors have a great deal of discretion in every facet of their job.They have the ability to determine what cases will be tried and what to charge suspects with.With such discretionary ability comes the chance of abuse of power.What safeguards can be put in place to prevent unethical exchanges from the prosecutor? Should there be an oversight committee to prevent such behaviors? If so, who would make up this committee?
