The body's ability to resist or eliminate potentially harmful foreign materials or abnormal cells.

The first section of the colon that receives digested food from the small intestine and moves it upward on the right side of the abdomen.

Transverse Colon

The middle section of the colon, which runs horizontally across the abdomen, playing a role in the digestion and absorption of nutrients.
