Design an experiment to examine the question: Who will learn more about psychology-students enrolled in a traditional course or those enrolled in a distance learning course? Identify:
          1.  the independent and dependent variables;
          2.  any confounding variables that might need to be controlled; and
          3.  the control and treatment groups.

Definitions:

Mental Retardation

An outdated and insensitive term formally used to describe people with significantly below-average intellectual functioning and adaptive behaviors, now more appropriately called intellectual disability.

Elementary Education

The first stage of formal education, covering basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and social skills typically provided to young children.

Dyslexia
