Definitions:

#MeToo

A social movement against sexual harassment and assault, aimed at raising awareness and demonstrating the widespread prevalence of such issues in society.

Sexual Violence

Any sexual act or an attempt to obtain a sexual act through violence or coercion.

Intimate Partner Violence

Any intentional act or series of acts by one or both partners in an intimate relationship that causes injury to either person. It can include physical assault, emotional abuse, sexual violence, and sexual harassment. Sometimes referred to as spousal violence or domestic abuse.

Emotional Abuse

A form of abuse characterized by a person subjecting or exposing another to behavior that may result in psychological trauma, including anxiety, chronic depression, or post-traumatic stress disorder.
