Definitions:

Total Body Height

A measure of an individual's full stature from the bottom of the feet to the top of the head when standing upright.

Parietal Bones

Paired bones in the human skull forming the sides and roof of the cranium.

Endochondral Ossification

The process by which growing cartilage is systematically replaced by bone to form the growing skeleton, mostly in long bones.

Sphenoidal Fontanel

An area on the skull where bones have not yet fused, specifically located at the junction of the sphenoid, temporal, and parietal bones; often closes early in life and may not be present in all individuals.
