Kristin and Lisa are getting ready to go out for Lisa's 21st birthday. Kristin and Lisa's other friends are also planning to join in. Lisa has never consumed alcohol and does not know how she should plan to drink safely. Kristin promises to take care of Lisa throughout the evening. Before going downtown to meet their friends, Kristin and Lisa each have a fruity mixed drink and decide to wait to eat until they are at the restaurant. Thirty minutes later, Lisa and Kristin meet their friends and enjoy a round of drinks to celebrate while ordering from the dinner menu. By the time the meal arrives, Lisa is feeling the effects of the alcohol, but her friends agree to order another round of drinks. After dinner, the friends walk down to the local bar and start dancing, and each person has two or three more drinks in the next hour. A short while later, Lisa is having a hard time seeing, hearing, and walking. She starts to feel nauseous and goes to the bathroom to throw up. Kristin decides that they should go home. Kristin does not really remember how many drinks Lisa has had, but she is concerned that she may have had too much to drink and might be experiencing alcohol poisoning.
Kristin had some muscle soreness after working out and decided to take a couple of aspirin before going out to drink. Which health problem could develop if she continues to use pain relievers and drink three or more drinks per day?
