Self-regulation of Behavior
The process by which individuals control their own behavior in order to achieve personal goals or adhere to standards of conduct.
Intrinsic Motivation
Motivation driven by an interest or enjoyment in the task itself, rather than relying on external pressures or rewards.
External Regulation
pertains to the motivation to perform an activity driven by external rewards or to avoid adverse outcomes, rather than personal interest or enjoyment.
Introjected Regulation
A form of internal motivation where behavior is guided by internal pressures and a desire to avoid guilt or anxiety, rather than personal value or interest.
