Definitions:

Pulmonary Trunk

The major blood vessel that carries blood from the right ventricle of the heart to the lungs for oxygenation.

Aortic Semilunar Valve

A valve in the heart located between the left ventricle and the aorta that prevents blood from flowing back into the heart.

Mitral Valve

A valve in the heart that lets blood flow from the left atrium to the left ventricle, preventing backflow.

Tricuspid Valve

Valve closing the orifice between the right atrium and the right ventricle of the heart.
