Low Tide

Spring Tide

A condition of especially high and low tides caused when the sun, moon, and Earth are aligned, increasing the gravitational pull on the oceans.

Neap Tide

A condition of the sea where the difference between high and low tide is at its least, occurring twice a month.

High Tide

The state of the tide when it is at its highest level, usually occurring twice in a 24-hour period.
