Jackson and Schuler's (1995) model of HRM outlines the internal and external contexts of organisations.Elements within the external context of the organisation are:
Object Permanence
The understanding that objects continue to exist even when they cannot be observed (seen, heard, touched, smelled or sensed in any way).
Accommodation
In psychology, it refers to the process by which individuals adjust their schemas or understanding in response to new information; in ophthalmology, it's the eye's ability to change its focus to see objects at different distances.
Binocular Depth
The ability to perceive the world in three dimensions and judge the distance of objects, thanks to the different visual images each eye perceives.
Linear Perspective
A depth cue that involves parallel lines converging as they recede into the distance, helping the brain perceive depth in a two-dimensional image.
