A teacher wishes to test the effects of using reinforcement versus a conventional method for maintaining classroom deportment. Twenty different teachers are instructed on the techniques to be used in the study; 10 on the conventional method and 10 on using reinforcement. Data was gathered on the number of minutes of attentive behavior in an hour sample taken from a class of each teacher when the classes were being taught the same material.
