An 18-year-old man is evaluated due to worsening headaches. For the last several months, the patient has had intermittent, dull, occipital headaches, which are often brought on by physical activity, cough, or straining. The pain is usually accompanied by nausea and dizziness, and the symptoms spontaneously resolve after several minutes.
