Definitions:

Cerebral Hemispheres

The two halves of the brain, the left and right hemispheres, each of which governs different functions and aspects of cognition and control opposite sides of the body.

Pineal Gland

A small endocrine gland in the brain that produces melatonin, regulating sleep and wakefulness.

Pons

A part of the brainstem that plays key roles in regulating breathing, sleep, and connecting different parts of the brain.

Thalamus
