Why would a physician prescribe a douche of live-culture yogurt after a course of antibiotics? Are the organisms that cause toxic shock syndrome (TSS)part of the normal vaginal flora? If toxic shock syndrome is supposed to come from tampons why do men,children and postmenopausal women now account for most cases of TSS?
