Frontal Lobes

The regions of the brain located at the front, responsible for voluntary movement, expressive language, and managing higher level executive functions.

Parietal Lobes

Regions of the brain located behind the frontal lobes, important for processing sensory information regarding the location of parts of the body as well as interpreting visual information and processing language and mathematics.

Occipital Lobe

The area of the brain situated at the rear of the head, tasked with interpreting visual data received from the eyes.

Faculty Psychology

The theory that different mental abilities, such as reading and computation, are independent and autonomous functions carried out in different parts of the brain.
