When necessary, auxiliary views can be found on a sheet other than where the viewing plane lines appear. The method for doing this is called cross-reference zoning and is used to indicate the location of a view back to the viewing location on a previous page. The auxiliary view is located on a different page and is labeled with the sheet number and zone of the cross-reference viewing plane.
