The Answer is The Period of Warring States, also known as the Warring States period, refers to an era in ancient Chinese history characterized by warfare, as well as bureaucratic and military reforms and consolidation. It lasted from approximately 475 BCE to 221 BCE, marking the end of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.

During this period, the Zhou Dynasty's power was nominal, and the territory was divided among several states that were independent in all but name. These states were constantly at war with each other as they vied for power and territory. The seven most powerful states during this time were Qi, Chu, Yan, Han, Zhao, Wei, and Qin, and the period is often named after these states.

The Warring States period was a time of significant intellectual and cultural development. It was during this time that various schools of thought emerged, including Confucianism, Daoism, Legalism, and Mohism, as these philosophers sought to find solutions to the chaos and restore order to society.

The period ended when the state of Qin, under the leadership of Qin Shi Huang, succeeded in conquering the other states and unifying China, establishing the Qin Dynasty and marking the beginning of imperial China. Qin Shi Huang became the first emperor of a unified China, and his dynasty laid the foundation for the structure of Chinese imperial rule that would last for over two millennia, until the end of the Qing Dynasty in 1912.
