Clutch Failure
A malfunction or breakdown of the clutch mechanism, leading to the inability to engage or disengage the engine from the drivetrain.
Clutch Brake Squeeze
The final inch or so of pedal travel as a clutch pedal is depressed toward the floor. The “squeeze” references the clamping of the clutch brake by the clutch release bearing.
Clutch Pedal
A pedal in a vehicle that disengages the transmission from the engine, allowing the driver to change gears or stop the vehicle without stopping the engine.
