Definitions:

Temporal Lobes

The regions of the brain located on each side of the brain, below the lateral fissure, involved in processing sensory input into derived meanings for the appropriate retention of visual memory, language comprehension, and emotion association.

Parietal Lobes

Sections of the brain located at the top of the cerebral hemisphere, responsible for processing sensory information relating to taste, temperature, and touch, as well as spatial orientation and navigation.

Occipital Lobes

The rearmost lobes in the brain, responsible for processing visual information from the eyes.

Cerebral Cortex

The outer layer of the cerebrum, responsible for complex brain functions such as thought, language, and consciousness.
