Hyperextension
An excessive extension of a limb or joint beyond its normal range of motion, potentially resulting in injury.
Elevation
The upward movement of bones or body parts, typically referring to movement in a superior direction.
Extension
The movement that increases the angle between two body parts, such as straightening a flexed knee.
Plantar Flexion
The movement of the foot that increases the angle between the foot and the shin, as in standing on tiptoe.
