Definitions:

Longitudinal Fissure

The deep groove that separates the two hemispheres of the brain.

Cerebral Hemispheres

The two halves of the brain, divided by the longitudinal fissure, responsible for controlling opposite sides of the body and different aspects of cognitive function.

Medulla Oblongata
