Definitions:

Nerves

Bundles of fibers that transmit electrical impulses between the brain, spinal cord, and other parts of the body.

Spinal Cord

A long, thin, tubular structure made up of nervous tissue, which extends from the brain down the back, transmitting nerve signals between the brain and the rest of the body.

Neurons

The fundamental units of the brain and nervous system, responsible for receiving sensory input from the external world, sending motor commands to our muscles, and transforming and relaying the electrical signals at every step in between.
