Classical Conditioning
A conditioning procedure where two stimuli are frequently combined; subsequently, a response that initially occurs in response to the second stimulus comes to be evoked by just the first stimulus.
Experimental Extinction
The process by which a conditioned response is eliminated through repeated presentation of the conditioned stimulus without the unconditioned stimulus.
