What is NORA and how does it work?

Definitions:

Bias Exposure

The act of encountering or being subjected to biases, which can shape attitudes, beliefs, or behaviors in a prejudiced way.

Change Of Venue

The legal act of moving a trial to a different location to ensure a fair hearing by an unbiased jury.

Death Qualification

The special jury selection process that occurs in capital cases with the purpose of excluding jurors who would not be able to weigh the evidence fairly because of their death penalty attitudes.

Voir Dire

A legal process where lawyers select, or perhaps more importantly, reject certain jurors before a trial begins.
