Main Routine
The primary and essential part of a program or PLC code that dictates the operation and flow of tasks.
Fault Routine
A programmed sequence executed by a device or system in response to an error or malfunction to mitigate damage or shutdown safely.
Subroutine
A sequence of program instructions that perform a specific task, packaged as a unit. In PLC programming, it can be called multiple times from different parts of the program.
