The Answer is Social loafing is the exertion of less effort by a person working in a group because individual performance cannot be evaluated separately from the group, thus causing performance decline on easy tasks. One way to address this would be to have each group member write up a summary of his performance to turn in with the assignment. Another way could be for the group members to assign other group members a grade based on their overall contribution to the final product.
