Definitions:

Nerves

Action Potentials

Synapses

The junctions between two neurons, where the transfer of electrical or chemical signals occurs.

Interneurons

Neurons that transmit impulses between other neurons, especially as part of reflex arcs and neural networks within the central nervous system.
