The Answer is -Fathers may engage in more rousing physical play than mothers do. This may include rough-and tumble play and run-and chase play. These types of play may be more evident with male children than with females.

-I do think this plays a part in the socialization process. We learn from interactions with others and therefore, as children come to identify with a gender, they will further integrate behavior patterns of others of the same gender. For example, female children may display the same behaviors and patterns of interactions as their female caregivers, such as: playing with dolls, rocking dolls, cooking, etc. We are social learners and therefore, learn from social contexts, particularly those involving a parent or caregiver.
